“When Fionn Davenport picked his favorite place to rest his head in the Northwest for the ” Defining Ireland” series of Newstalk radio, the place he chose was Sonia McGonigle’s The Glen House, in little Clonmany. We understand perfectly. The Glenhouse is a beautiful house, superbly run by Sonia, with lovely rooms, with a spick and span tea room you can stop off in after a visit to the Glenevin waterfall next door, and a neat restaurant. It pushes all the buttons, therefor, and we can’t think of anything nicer than a few days spent here walking on the beaches and on through the Urris Hills and Manmore Gap, with the promise of dinner in The Glen to end a perfect day. Ah!”
